Nea Kallikratia is a small town near the town of Thessaloniki and is the first beach town of Halkidiki. Kallikratia has a lot of shops,taverns and cafeterias as also beach bars and kids playgroung. Beach is wide and sandy with crystal clear waters. Kallikratia is a popular destination for tourists from Balkan countries as also for all over Europe. Every Thursday there’s an open market where you can buy fresh and quality fruit and vegetables at lower prices, but also some clothes. Several stands with fruit and vegetables work every day.
